After 4 months working as an IT consultant/technical, I am feeling better than before. In May of this year, I decided to resign from the IT Manager position after 2.5 years on the job plus 3 years as the Software Development Manager at Allied Express. Working long hours (90+ hours per week), working much less hours (70+ hours per week) is very relaxing.

Despite not working full time as a developer of the last 6 years, I have not forgotten my programming skills. I am as good as  developer in C/C++ as other developers with similar number of years of experience. I am working on porting the document scanning application which I wrote in C++ on Linux across to Windows now. Working on Windows Vista at the moment.
